So, I've been focusing on personal discipline these last couple of days...really focusing hard on the things I want to get done in my private time. Like the foundry I've been talking about for ages. It seems that all the puzzle pieces are falling into place. I've found a local professional foundry, I've found a the HR manager, and I've got 200 pounds of slightly used foundry sand. (read: It's got a little slag in it here and there that I can easily sift out.) FOR FREE~! Not only that, I mention to someone off hand today that I could really use something to keep my pants from catching on fire when I'm working with the metal...so he gives me

Sometimes when I'm waking up in the mornings I view things with a different perspective. While I was rummaging about on my bedside table for the alarm clock I grabbed one of my favorite pens and I held it up in the air and looked at it sleepily. I wished that there would always be pens. They have such a long history and they're really awesome when you think about them. An ancient tool and a modern achievement. So I'd like to suggest that everyone have a notebook and some writing tools and just have some fun writing anything! Don't let typing kill the old form. ;)

Lately I've had an interesting thought, that perhaps someone or anyone who reads this might be able to share some insight on... If a person asks themselves if they are happy...are they really? If someone cannot think of an answer right away what does that mean? Maybe I'm just having a bad week. I've been working this job for two months now, it's probably one of the most interesting jobs on earth. It's ancient. I'm privileged enough to be doing something that hardly anyone else in our operation is trained to do (rearing infant queen bees) This sure beats what I was doing before. By a clear astronomical unit. I'm getting paid well...heck, I'm

Thanks for the fave! :D
You are swift. :o

You're welcome. Sometimes the random catches my attention and demands a response. Your artwork was one of those images that caught my interest. I'm not sure if it was the graffiti or the geometry. Both are great.

If I didn't have to get ready for work I'd browse some more. Perhaps I can fix that situation.
Well thank you! I appreciate your comments :D
Thank you for the watch too! :D
Aye!

Perhaps I can leave more good ones later.

Hail good fortune and the places it leads!

thank you very much.
Very interesting photographs
Did you get hit hard by the storm this past weekend? How did the bee yards survive?
As far as I can tell they made weathered it well. Of course we were expecting to gather pollen today from some traps we set up, but the rain kept them in over the weekend so our gathering was poorer than normal.

I worked about 3 hours on saturday moving 150 packages of bees from the yard to the shop/HQ. Some fellow from Minnesota was coming to get them.

Are yours ok?
